At the heart of the ULT FIELD 5 is Sony’s X-Balanced Speaker Unit. Its approximately 79 x 107mm non-circular woofer diaphragm provides a larger surface area than a conventional circular design, helping the speaker produce deeper bass while maintaining vocal definition.
Two approximately 46mm tweeters handle higher frequencies, while passive radiators support the bass response. This combination is designed to maintain a balanced presentation as you turn the volume up, rather than relying on bass alone.
