The Sonos Play is a portable smart speaker designed for customers who want the flexibility of Sonos at home and Bluetooth listening when they are away. Its compact 1.3kg design is easy to carry, while the built-in battery provides up to 24 hours of continuous playback on a single charge.

Sonos Play uses two angled tweeters and a mid-woofer to produce stereo sound from its compact enclosure. The tweeters handle higher frequencies and stereo separation, while the mid-woofer covers vocal frequencies and bass.
Three Class-H digital amplifiers are tuned to the speaker’s acoustic design. You can also adjust bass, treble and loudness through the Sonos app, giving you control over the sound to suit your preferences.
Automatic Trueplay™ continually optimises the speaker’s sound according to its surroundings and the content being played. This is particularly useful for a portable speaker that may be moved between different rooms or locations. Automatic Trueplay requires the Sonos app and Wi-Fi.
Connectivity is flexible. Wi-Fi 6 allows Sonos Play to join your home Sonos system, while Bluetooth 5.3 provides direct wireless streaming from compatible devices when you are away. Apple AirPlay 2 is also supported on compatible Apple devices.
