This impressive KitchenAid artisan stand mixer allows you to whip cream, mix cake batter, mash potatoes, knead pasta dough and make bread – simply by changing the stainless steel attachments included and adopting the correct speed.
The 185 premium KitchenAid stand mixer, like all mixing appliances from this premium brand, features the original planetary action whisk. This allows the beater to spiral to at least 59 touchpoints around the bowl. The result is a lighter, more aerated mix, and in a fast time.

Large capacity bowls for big dinner parties
The KitchenAid artisan stand mixer 185 is easy to operate thanks to a lever and speeds of between one and 10, depending on your purpose and the texture of the food being mixed. For instance, use the first speed for a gentle stir, i.e. when adding flavours to yoghurt or soup, etc. Increase the speed to six when beating eggs (or a cake mix) and go all the way up to 10 when you want to whip up a meringue.
The direct drive motor in this tilt-head artisan mixer is steady and reliable, as well as being energy efficient. It is also wonderfully quiet, so you can enjoy your cooking or baking without having your ears hammered with noise. The fact there are two stainless steel bowls – a 4.8 litre and a 3.0 litre – means there’s no need to wash in between mixing different foodstuffs. Large appliances are delivered by our own delivery teams, installation services can also be selected during the checkout process. Unfortunately, we are not able to deliver some large appliances outside of Norfolk and North Suffolk at the moment; you will be informed of this during the order process if you enter a postcode outside of our delivery zone.
