Oven & Cooker Installations


We offer an installation service in Norfolk and North Suffolk. You will be prompted to add your postcode when items are added to your basket, or check areas here.
All installations are carried out by our own fully trained engineers.

INSTALLATION CHECKLIST

Before ordering these installations you should ensure that:

  • Correct electrical supply and sockets are already in place within range of the new appliance location
  • If you’re ordering a new oven – check the fuel source and requirements eg. gas/electric
  • Built-in and built-under are different – make sure you’ve ordered the right one
  • Check (and double check) the dimensions of your old model appliance and the aperture which the new model needs to fit
  • Make sure that there is an isolator switch for ovens and cookers
  • Changes to wiring, sockets or any part of electrical supply will incur an extra charge
  • We can make minor adjustments to kitchen cupboards but this will incur an extra charge
  • Let our sales team know if you have any delicate flooring eg. laminate, lino etc.
  • Tell our sales team about access issues eg. steps, stairs, slopes or any obstructions which may hinder an installation and delivery

  • *Failure to provide the above prior to arrival will accrue an installation charge even if the work cannot be completed.

ELECTRIC OVEN, COOKER & HOB INSTALLATIONS

Freestanding Electric Cooker Installation – £90.00

  • Free delivery within local postcode area
  • Disconnection of old electric appliance
    Note: We are unable to disconnect gas appliances; you would need to arrange this with a 3rd Party Gas Safe Contractor
  • Installation of the new appliance to appropriate existing connection points
  • Demonstration of key functions
  • Price based on standard 60 minutes labour, £15 per 15 minutes thereafter

Built-in Electric Oven Installation – £110.00

  • Free delivery within local postcode area
  • Disconnection of old electric appliance
    Note: We are unable to disconnect gas appliances; you would need to arrange this with a 3rd Party Gas Safe Contractor
  • Installation of the new appliance to appropriate existing connection points
  • Demonstration of key functions
  • Price based on standard 60 minutes labour, £15 per 15 minutes thereafter
  • Built-in items cost at £55 per item thereafter

Electric Hob Installation – £110.00

  • Free delivery within local postcode area
  • Disconnection of old electric appliance
    Note: We are unable to disconnect gas appliances; you would need to arrange this with a 3rd Party Gas Safe Contractor
  • Installation of the new appliance to appropriate existing connection points
  • Carry out basic carpentry work required (e.g. drilling holes, cutting work top for a bigger hob)
  • Demonstration of key functions
  • Price based on standard 60 minutes labour, £15 per 15 minutes thereafter

Cooker and Oven collection for recycling – £20.00


GAS OVEN & COOKER INSTALLATIONS

We no longer offer Gas installations.

  • Demonstration of key functions
  • Price based on standard 60 minutes labour, £15 per 15 minutes thereafter

GENERAL INSTALLATION ADVICE

General Installation advice

Please note: We will be unable to connect your new appliance if:

  • The installation is in a bathroom, toilet or outbuilding
  • There are no appropriate connection points for the installation
  • Your existing connection points/circuits do not conform with either the manufacturer’s safety guidelines or the appropriate regulatory requirements
  • A major alteration to your kitchen cabinets is required
  • The appliance doesn’t fit within allotted space
  • Wrong appliance type has been bought eg. freestanding or built-in
