Does your TV need a Robin?

21/2/2014
Manufacturers, Sony

Sony are at it again, last week we wrote about how they’ve stepped into the world of TV base speakers with the HT-XT1, well now they’ve also announced two new Sound Bars the HT-CT770 and HT-CT370 (also available in a very cool white)  has an Of course these were announced at the 2014 CES and at this rate we’ll still be revealing new releases from the CES show well into the summer!

The Sony HT-CT770 offers 330W of sound and a 160mm subwoofer driver along with NFC/Bluetooth connectivity. Think of the HT-CT370 as it’s little brother, at 300W it’s the slightly cheaper alternative to the HT-CT770 but still comes with the NFC and Bluetooth technology.

These two new sound bars are the ideal Robin to your flat screen TV batman. They’re discrete too, HT-CT370, is just 5cm tall so it won’t block the TV’s IR sensor or stick out like a sore thumb under your TV.

It may look small and humble but it packs a hell of a punch – spreading sound evenly into every nook and cranny of a room. It can either be laid horizontally under the TV or positioned up right on the floor next to the TV depending on what space you have and how obvious you want the sound bar to be. We say, if you’ve got it flaunt it!

These sound bars are a great way to update your TV entertainment system without having to fork out for a completely new TV.

There’s always going to be something bigger and better released down the line but you don’t have to buy a new TV each time. If you just add these Sony Sound Bars you can transform your telly watching experience. Of course Sony do have some amazing TVs around and if you want to get a new one  – we won’t stop you. Our showroom in the centre of Norwich has one of the biggest selection of Sony TVs in Norfolk – so drop in and have a chat with one of our experts.

At the moment, you won’t be able to take a look at either the HT-CT770 or HT-CT370 sound bars because they aren’t actually available yet in the UK. But they are set to be released in April.

Pricing will be announced nearer to the time but we’ll be sure to keep you updated with specific dates and prices when the information becomes available.
